Welcome To Medicine River Woodworks!
|
|
Medicine River Woodworks, LLC is located in Florence, Montana, operating full-time since 2001. The workshop is located at the home of Tim and Holli Stevenson, who invite you to stop by and see their work.
Tim and Holli Stevenson are both native Montanans. Tim is a fourth generation Montanan who grew up in Missoula, while Holli grew up in the Conrad - Choteau area. Tim is an avid outdoorsman and has spent years exploring Montana's remote places, whether on snow shoe or pack mules.
The couple's appreciation and knowledge of Montana's natural beauty is conveyed in their handcrafted artwork and furniture. Tim has an eye for creating objects that are unique and different. They find their materials in Montana's great outdoors and spend much of their time searching for raw wood with unusual twists, turns and markings. They then take nature's own sculptures a bit further by creating lasting art and furniture that you'll be proud to display in your home or cabin.

One of their specialties is carving bears. These unique and friendly creatures make wonderful additions to entryways and porches but are at home just about anywhere.
Each chainsaw carving is unique and handcrafted by Tim, there are no two that are alike. Tim creates that special look while Holli does the finishing work and creates artwork of her own.
Customer satisfaction, attention to details and finish work are a company trademark. The wood the couple selects for their products is carefully cured and set with a durable, weather-resistant finish that will stand up to the weather.
